Aneesah Morrow performed admirably when competing in the NCAA. She began her undergraduate career as a member of the DePaul Blue Demons, but it appears that she had higher aspirations for them. In 2023, she went online to the transfer site and looked up a few schools. North Carolina and Louisiana State University were among her top universities. She ultimately decided to enroll at LSU to play for Angel Reese and her team.

One of the biggest upsets of the 2022–23 NCAA season was pulled off by the LSU Tigers. They put a lot of effort into rising to the top and were eventually matched up against the Iowa Hawkeyes. It was anticipated that Caitlin Clark of the Hawkeyes would win the championship, but LSU head coach Kim Mulkey’s Tigers displayed a nasty side of themselves that no one had anticipated. With pride and dignity, Reese and her teammates held the championship.
BREAKING: Kim Mulkey and #LSU have completed their mission of adding the top two players in the transfer portal with the commitment of former DePaul F Aneesha Morrow. Morrow averaged 25.7 ppg, 12.1 rpg, with 2.6 steals and 1.3 blocks a game. She is also a former second team pic.twitter.com/1s3vofz2H0

LSU was able to recruit some fantastic players from across the NCAA thanks to the 2023 transfer portal. The first transfer portal recruit to pledge to LSU was Hailey Van Lith. Similar to Aneesah Morrow, Van Lith is one of the league’s top offensive threats. The latter also made the decision to bring her skills to LSU. With Morrow’s signing, some basketball fans compared the Tigers to the Golden State Warriors.
Is Aneesah Morrow taller than Angel Reese?
During the 2022–23 Season, Aneesah Morrow had the fifth-highest points per game average in the NCAA. She has demonstrated that she poses a serious threat on both sides of the field. For a 6 1 forward, Aneesah is also remarkably excellent at offensive rebounding. She averaged 23.8 points, 13 rebounds, and 1.7 assists per game while playing for the Blue Demons. Morrow’s skill set doesn’t stop there; at DePaul, she averages 2.7 steals and 1.5 blocks per game while excelling at ball defense.
She is considerably shorter than colleague Angel Reese, who is from Chicago. Reese is 6 3 feet tall, whereas Morrow is 6 1 feet. Given that the reigning champion also averaged a double-double of 23 points and 15.4 rebounds per game in 2023, Reese and Morrow have extremely similar playing philosophies. The best team in women’s basketball may one day include both players.
Aneesah Morrow’s weight is unknown, although given her height and physique, it is possible that she weighs between 155 and 165 pounds. Her wingspan is not stated on her official records either, however it could be much longer than the standard 6 5 feet. She possesses a lot of muscle to intimidate everyone in the paint due to her extremely high rebounding efficiency.
