The Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis need to win one more game to defeat Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors. Fans will be aware that in order for the Lakers and the Warriors to advance to the second round of the NBA playoffs, respectively, they had to overcome the Grizzlies and the Kings, respectively.
Despite being the defending champions and being picked to win this series, the Warriors ended up behind the series 3-1 after 4 games. AD suffered an injury in Game 5 and was quickly forced to leave the game. Fans should undoubtedly be curious about what happened and when he can be counted on to return for his team given his history of injuries.
What injury does Anthony Davis have?
Those who saw the game will be aware of what transpired. In Game 5, the Warriors, led by Stephen Cury, prevailed over Davis and the Lakers. They have done this in order to maintain their chances of making the playoffs, advance the series to a 3-2 tie, and force a Game 6 of the series.
The Los Angeles Lakers have to pay a price for this. D Angelo Russell drove to the rim with less than 8 minutes remaining in the fourth quarter and tried a jumper. In an effort to win a potential rebound, Kevon Looney and Anthony Davis engaged in physical contact, with Looney’s elbow striking AD in the face.
He was immediately sidelined and did not come back as his team ultimately lost 121-106. Davis is listed as day-to-day and has reportedly avoided any significant concussions. As a result, it is uncertain whether he will dress for Game 6, and the decision will probably be made during the game.
Instead of LeBron James, AD has been the Warriors’ main focus throughout this series. Given that he is the biggest player on the court for both teams and is virtually tough to guard by the Warriors defense, this would make sense. At this point in his career, it would also be unfair to expect King James to constantly dominate games.

Fans are genuinely worried about Davis as a result. Even if he comes back, he must be unstoppable on both ends of the floor to give his team a chance to win. We wish him a quick recovery and anticipate seeing him in Game 6.
