The Return of English Premier League

English premier League  returned last weekend with many games on the table. It returned after take break for the F.A cup. During the break the most talked about person was Mark Hughes of Stoke City who was sacked because of his poor lack of form for the team has lost eight consecutive matches.

After the return of the English Premier League, one of the most anticipated game was the Liverpool versus Manchester City.The game was played in Anfield which was Manchester’s least favorite. In history they just have won one game in this stadium and lost fourteen games there. The Premier league game between Liverpool and Manchester city did not turn out well for Man city as the were beaten for the first time in the premier League by four goals to three.

The match by halftime was 1-1. Manchester’s lead at the top is 155 points which could have been cut short if Manchester United had won their game on Monday and Liverpool move to third place.

The Premier League returned with Everton facing Totenham at Webley stadium. The Everton giants were given a thorough beating by Totenham  at their own home which was a 4-0 win. Son scored the first goal by the twenty sixth minute and the fourth goal was scored b Christian Erikseny on the eighty one minute

The other major premier League game  was between Chelsea vs  Leicester City. Chelsea was unable to beat the Leicester team. The team has now recorded a third consecutive 0-0 draw in all competitions.

Leicester had the chance of scoring more goals at the first half with twelve shots on target. despite them having the main advantage Chelsea’s player Hazard was taken off with a yellow card after fouling Victor Moses.

The free kick from Marcos Alonzo was the closest the came to scoring which was palmed away by SchMeichel. the premier League is still on play with more interesting teams coming up against each other.
