One of the brightest stars in the Western Conference today is Jamal Murray. He was selected in the 2016 NBA Draft and has since been a member of the Denver Nuggets. The legendary tandem of Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray helped the Nuggets achieve great success as well. The franchise hasn’t participated in the finals in a long time, but the pair made it happen in 2023.
The last time the Nuggets advanced far in the playoffs was against the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2020 NBA Bubble. The basketball star, who was Canadian by birth, was also doing well at the time. In 2015 when they were both in college, Jamal and Harper connected and were able to keep their relationship constant. The couple walked into deep waters in 2020, just before the Bubble occurred, when their relationship experienced a significant setback. On the baller’s Instagram, a video of Hempel and Murray spending some alone time together appeared. As viewers recorded the video and snapped screenshots, it even spread to other platforms.

It was certainly not easy for Harper as well since fans began to circulate clippings and snaps of the private video everywhere. The Nuggets superstar was heckled by fans during a game against the Detroit Pistons in March 2023.The heckler yelled, “I saw your girl s***ing d**k.”
Murray charged at the fan in a confrontational manner, enraged by what had been said. When the game was stopped by a whistle, Jokic ran to stop Murray from storming at the fan.
Murray and Hempel’s romance has completely disappeared off the radar. Some people think they might have also put an end to it. Since his ACL injury, Jamal has had a fantastic career with the Nuggets.
During the 2022–23 season, he averaged 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game. Due to the injury, he missed the entirety of the 2021-22 season trying to recover. Since his return, Denver has returned to the title race.
