NBA Trade Rumors: Phoenix Suns Finally Make a Decision on Deandre Ayton and Chris Paul After Sub-Par Playoff Performance

Fans of the Phoenix Suns were extremely unhappy to learn that their club had lost in the NBA postseason yet again. While it’s possible to claim that Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton‘s injuries contributed to the Nuggets’ six-game victory, everyone on the squad and the management deserve some of the blame.

Fans are likely aware that the Suns’ ownership has changed. To build a super team, they also made plans to acquire Kevin Durant. That attempt, meanwhile, doesn’t seem to have been successful. The Suns are reportedly looking to part ways with important stars like CP3 and Ayton just one day after their season comes to an end.

Should the Phoenix Suns trade Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton?

CP3, and Deandre weren’t even healthy enough to be on the court for the final stages of the second-round series against the Nuggets, even though both Devin Booker and Kevin Durant underperformed. They quietly watched their team’s season come to an end while supporting their colleagues from the bench, instead of fighting to the very end to save it.

It is obvious that Mat Ishbia and the Suns didn’t intend to go in the direction of being eliminated after just one playoff round. It is quite likely that the Suns will keep KD and Booker given that they already have them, while also finding a way to let go of Chris Paul and Deandre Ayton.

Chris Paul is obviously nearing the end of his career and unable to perform to the best of his talents. He has frequently been relocated within the league in an effort to capture a championship. His time with the Suns may be coming to an end, though, if they lose two straight games in the second round.

There is wondering around the NBA about whether Deandre Ayton and Chris Paul will be on the Suns roster next season.

Phoenix is expected to aggressively explore the trade market for Ayton this summer.

Ayton, on the other hand, is considerably younger and might even improve his performance for his club. Unfortunately for him, a number of detractors have stated that he regularly exhibits a lack of interest or connection to the game. Additionally, there have been rumors that he does not get along well with his teammates.

In any case, the present PhoenixSuns may be done for good after this. Although Booker and KD give them a shot, they must replace CP3 and Ayton with better players if they want to increase their chances of winning the NBA championship.
