Ja Morant, a player for the Memphis Grizzlies, is in trouble after showing a gun during an Instagram Live video. Two months had passed since his encounter in Denver before this one. The Grizzlies punished Morant severely when he brandished a gun in a Denver nightclub. Before seeking counseling, Morant went through it, worked on himself, and even expressed regret. However, everyone has been critical of him since his most recent incident.

Morant and his friend Davonte Pack were spotted hanging out after Morant’s team was ousted from the playoffs. where he used Instagram Live to display a pistol once more. As of right now, no laws have been broken. Even if no laws have been broken, many nevertheless oppose his acts for no other reason than that. It is difficult to see someone defending Morant in this circumstance, but JJ Reddick recently did so.

TheGrizzlies have already placed Morant on an indefinite suspension from all team-related activities. However, NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who is anticipating the worst for Morant, also had a voice in this. He thinks Morant could face a lot of significant repercussions this time. Why then are we attempting to punish a 23-year-old? Who didn’t break the law? Reddick questioned. After Silver made it obvious, Morant is expected to receive a lengthy suspension from the NBA. But it raises the issue of why Morant should suffer such dire repercussions.
Reddick earlier questioned why it is thus if no laws have been breached. Morant has committed the same offense that got him into so much difficulty in the first place. Morant shouldn’t, however, be subjected to severe punishment. In Tennessee, where it is legal for residents to carry firearms without a license. Morant hasn’t actually broken any laws, so to speak.
