Over the past ten years, Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson have experienced quite the rise in the NBA. Together, they have achieved great success, winning four titles and making eight finals appearances.
With their amazing three-point shooting efficiency, they still rule the NBA. And now, the Splash Brothers, a fan favorite, are getting ready to play golf. Except that they represent the NFL, their rivals are much the same.

They will face the Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs. On The Match, these four people will face off against one another. On June 29, 2023, a 12-hole exhibition game of this sort is planned for Wynn, Las Vegas. The combination of an NFL and NBA team will appear in the competition for the first time this year. Two competitors, though, will be playing golf for the first time.
Patrick Mahomes and Stephen Curry have both previously been on The Match. Curry competed alongside Peyton Manning, a legend in the game of football, but fell short to Charles Barkley and Phil Mickelson. Along with Josh Allen, Mahomes also dropped his debut contest against Aaron Rodgers and Tom Brady. Ironically, Curry and Mahomes were defeated by legendary players in their respective sports. Both parties have the opportunity to seek atonement and exact revenge at this point.
Will Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson succeed against the Super Bowl Champions?
On the gold course, Klay Thompson will be making his professional debut while Stephen Curry has extensive experience. Although Thompson has never participated in a professional game or competition, he frequently publishes pictures of himself playing golf on social media. The three-point expert undoubtedly has a few tricks under his sleeve. Steph, who is Klay’s opponent, has previously battled against golf lovers and professionals.
The American Century Championship golf tournament featured Stephen Curry. Celebrities from many industries compete in this annual event on the golf course. It was Curry’s tenth appearance in the competition, and he performed admirably. Curry knocked over other illustrious athletes and icons to place 16th overall, two positions ahead of his father Dell.
His three-point swing is the best he can manage, regardless of how fluid it is. Also present at the American Century Golf Tournament was Patrick Mahomes. The Super Bowl winner, who placed 51st in the competition, did not fare as well as Curry. However, people have generally had comparable careers in their respective sports, and their upcoming golf game is anticipated to be extremely competitive.
