This could be the year that Nikola Jokic finally breaks through for a shot at the title. The Western Conference’s best record at the end of the season belonged to the Denver Nuggets. The Nuggets have never been able to win the championship, while continuing to rank among the top teams in their division. But things are gradually beginning to improve.
Phoenix will now play Denver in the Western Conference Finals. The latter has experienced tremendous success recently and consistently makes it to the playoffs. The Suns came out on top in the West last season. Unfortunately, they are trailing the Nuggets by two games. Nikola Jokic and his daughter experienced a sweet moment in the stands after Game 2 ended. She mimicked his championship ring gesture as he flashed it.
damn i thought she was just born she already making ring gestures

She is sooo adorable! They showed his family after every home game when they were there because he waives to them and she looks for her Daddy and waives. It is precious.

The event left fans speechless. Something like this makes me happy, one person commented.Dam* I thought she was just born, but she’s already making ring movements, another enthusiast chimed in.Jokic will still need to put in the effort against the Suns despite his confidence. Even if they are ahead of Phoenix, Kevin Durant and Devin Booker can easily win the remaining 5 games and secure the victory. KD has enough of postseason experience, so he will know precisely how to put the Suns back on the right track.
Nikola Jokic shuts down the Suns with an insane 39-point double-double
By outscoring Phoenix by 18 points, the Nuggets won Game 1. Nikola Jokic finished with 24 points and 19 rebounds in the 125-107 triumph. Jamal Murray, who returned from injury midway through the previous season and averaged 21.2 points per game, was the game’s outstanding performer. He averaged 20 points, 4 rebounds, and 6.2 assists per game this season. In Game 1, he had 34 points, including an outstanding 9 assists, to lead the Nuggets.
It was Jokic’s turn to stand out in Game 2. In a close victory over the Suns, he amassed 39 points and 16 rebounds. Phoenix did start off with a respectable lead, but they were unable to maintain their momentum. Only 14 points were scored by the Suns in the fourth quarter.Chris Paul was forced to leave the game because of a persistent groin issue. He might also miss the remaining episodes of the series.
Paul is a fantastic shooter and his absence hurt the offense since he could have added a few more points to cut the Nuggets’ lead. Durant had 24 points and 8 rebounds, while Booker scored 35 points. The Suns’ major problems were poor defense and too many fouls.
They may have avoided these problems by using their bench players. While Torrey Craig, Landry Shamet, and Terrence Ross could have filled in the gaps, TJ Warren received zero playing time.
