After pushing Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia, Nikola Jokic is the subject of a contentious argument among NBA fans as to whether or not he should be suspended. The majority of us ought to be aware of what occurred. In Game 4 of the second round of the Western Conference playoffs, the Suns hosted the Nuggets.
Even though the Suns ultimately prevailed, the fight between the Nuggets star and Ishbia attracted just as much attention from viewers all over the world. With that said, let’s dig deeper into Jokic’s actions and the general public’s perception of the whole thing.
Why did Nikola Jokic push Phoenix Suns owner Mat Ishbia?
Although there is little doubt that the supporters are upset at what happened, few are certain of Jokic’s motivations for pushing Ishbia. The Suns accidentally sent the ball out of bounds while making a shot during the play that preceded this occurrence. Josh Okogie ultimately tried to save it by jumping into the throng, but he was unsuccessful.
Nikola probably intended to grab the ball immediately and push it up the floor to give his team a quick lead. Ishbia, however, clung to it and kept him from doing so. This plainly infuriated the Joker, who then pushed the owner of the Suns, who then fell back onto his seat.
This interaction sparked a contentious discussion among fans about whether Jokic ought to be suspended for his behavior or not. Do your duty and suspend Nikola Jokic for the upcoming NBA game, they argued. You wouldn’t dare suspend Nikola Jokic for Game 5 of the NBA Finals.are a few of the remarks made by supporters of both side.

Isbia himself tweeted that he opposed suspending Jokic, but this hasn’t stopped the barrage of abuse directed at the two-time NBA MVP. Fortunately for him, a ton of people are standing up for him and criticizing Mat Ishbia for getting involved by seizing the basketball.
Great win for the Suns last night in an amazing series so far!
That should be and is the only story. Suspending or fining anyone over last nights incident would not be right. I have alot of respect for Jokic and don t want to see anything like that. Excited for game 5! Go Suns!Mat Ishbia (@Mishbia15) May 8, 2023

Whatever the case, nothing significant resulted from this contact, and both parties appeared to have gone on. Hopefully there won’t be a suspension because that would undoubtedly affect how this series turns out.
