The Miami Heat fall to the Celtics yet again as the series lead is cut to 3-2. After taking a commanding 3-0 lead, the Celtics bounced back to take two games for themselves. The team already playing without their key players, Tyler Herro and Victor Oladipo, struggled in Games 4 and 5. The Heat seems to be in trouble ahead of Game 6 as Gabe Vincent, another one of the Heat s primary shooters is sidelined with an ankle injury. The Celtics took Game 5, 110-97.
Jimmy Butlerand the company will head back home for Game 6, as this redemption series hasn t ended yet. Miami was eliminated in Game 7 of the East Finals last year versus Boston. Fans are now starting to anticipate Tyler Herro s return. Herro was injured in Game 1 of the first round versus the Bucks and hasn t returned till now. With the series getting more competitive, the Heat would definitely need Herro to make it back to the roster.
Will Tyler Herro return for the ongoing series?
Herrohad broken his right hand as he dived to save the ball in Game 1 of the first round. Following his dive, Tyler went on to attempt an outside shot with his broken hand. Herro left the game at halftime and didn t return. While the team had expected Herro to be out for about 3-4 weeks, it s been longer than the said time. It s been over a month since his injury, and Tyler is now going through the rehab process.
Recently Herro was cleared for on-court activities, though with precautions. With Miami being one game away from the Finals and two games left for the series, it is highly unlikely for Tyler to return. If all goes well, Herro may return in the middle of the Finals if Miami manages to advance. The Heat is already short of another player ahead of Game 6,anticipating Vincent s availability.
Miami s chances to advance to the Finals were near 100% a few days ago. Game 6 is scheduled in Miami, as the Heat will have a great chance to close the series at home. The Celtics on the other will look to push Game 7. Tyler s return has no real timetable. It would be wiser for the youngster to only check in when he s all healthy. Players like Caleb Martin, Max Strus, and Gabe Vincent have helped greatly in this postseason run. Vincent s availability for Game 6 may be probable, the team has to make the necessary adjustments regardless for the next game.
