Fans are likely anticipating another Stephen Curry–LeBron James series. When I think about it, I remember the four finals matches they had against one another. However, no one anticipated Klay Thompson to show up for Game 6 thus early in the series. Anthony Davis was the sole reason the Los Angeles Lakers won Game 1 of the series. LeBron James managed to finish with 23 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists, maintaining his normal stat line. The Warriors dominated last night’s game because the Lakers had poor shooting. Golden State made 21 of its 42 attempts at three-pointers, compared to the Lakers’ 29.4% on 34 attempts.
Curry and James competing against one another makes this series intriguing. Under pressure, both players are prone to getting hot. When the Warriors faced the Kings and the Lakers faced the Grizzlies, the outcome was similar. Steph and LeBron both played outstanding final games. Both clubs are now in a best-of-five scenario because the series is deadlocked at one game each.
